2. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies may read or store information on your device. Technologies strictly necessary for the service you request do not require consent; non-essential technologies, where present, must be managed in accordance with applicable law.

3. Website configuration

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads are integrated with separate prior consent for statistics and advertising measurement. Both are off on the first visit: no Google measurement script is requested until you accept at least one category. You can accept all, reject all, or customize and save choices. Closing the initial notice without accepting counts as refusal. Google Maps retains its separate, per-page choice.

Your choice is stored in browser localStorage under scda-consent-v1, with categories, version and date, for 180 days. This technical record only remembers the decision, including refusal; the site does not send it to a server to create a profile. Clearing browser data or changing device may prompt the choice again.

Statistics: Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and sessions; the code sets a maximum expiry of 395 days without automatically renewing the cookie on each visit. Advertising measurement: Google Ads may use identifiers such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, generally for up to 90 days, depending on Google features and settings. We do not enable personalized advertising in the code. Actual names and durations may vary with provider updates and can be inspected in your browser.

You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer and refuse or change categories. When withdrawing an active category, the site deletes accessible measurement cookies on its own domain and reloads the page to stop scripts already running. It cannot delete cookies on Google domains or automatically erase data already received by Google; use browser settings or contact the controller. Retention in Google reports is separate from cookie expiry.

4. Google Maps: a choice for each page visit

The embedded map on the Contact page does not load automatically. Before you choose to activate it, no active Google Maps iframe is present. Selecting “Load Google Maps” requests and consents to this external content: your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical data and use cookies or identifiers, including in connection with an existing Google account session. The types and lifetimes of any cookies depend on Google’s service and your browser and account settings; see Google’s information about cookies.

Your choice is not saved in cookies or localStorage: it applies to the open page, and the map is blocked again the next time the page loads. You can use “Remove map” to stop the external content; this does not delete cookies already set by Google, which you can manage in your browser. You can also leave the map unloaded and use the written address or the “Open in Google Maps” link.

5. Links and administration area

Burble bookings and gifts, WhatsApp and social links open external services with their own privacy notices and cookie choices. The /admin/ area is restricted to authorised editors and uses Decap CMS with GitHub authentication through Netlify; authentication data are separate from normal public browsing. Do not share login credentials.

6. Browser settings

You can view, block or delete cookies and website data in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking necessary technologies may limit some features of external services. Google cookies must be deleted through your browser or the relevant service settings.
