2. Scope of this notice
This notice covers browsing the Skydive Costa d’Argento website and contacting us through its links. Enrolment, sporting activities, health documentation, filming and use of images require specific notices provided as part of the relevant service. This page does not replace those notices.
3. Data, purposes and legal bases
- Browsing and security: IP addresses, browser and device information, page requests, dates, times and technical connection data may be processed by the hosting infrastructure to deliver the website, prevent misuse and resolve faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the availability and security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Enquiries and service arrangements: Names, contact details and the content of communications voluntarily sent by email, telephone or WhatsApp are used to respond to and manage your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b)); for general enquiries unrelated to a contract, it is our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligations and protection of rights: Where necessary, relevant data are processed to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Optional map: Google Maps is initially blocked and loads only when you select “Load Google Maps”. The legal basis for activating this external content is consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw using “Remove map”. Withdrawal stops the content on the page and does not undo processing that has already taken place.
Your contact details are needed to respond; without them, we may be unable to handle your enquiry. The map is optional, and directions remain available through an external link. Do not send health documents or other particularly sensitive data through the website’s normal contact channels without first agreeing on an appropriate channel.
4. Providers and external services
The website uses Netlify for hosting and content delivery; Aruba manages the domain. Necessary data may be accessible to authorised personnel and technical support and communications providers within the scope of their work, and to authorities where required by law. Providers act as processors or independent controllers depending on the service and applicable relationship.
Booking and gift buttons open Burble on an external website. WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and Google Maps directions are external links: when you follow them, the privacy notices of those services also apply. Booking may involve additional processing described during the booking procedure.
Loading the map connects your browser to Google, which may receive your IP address, browser and device information and use cookies or identifiers according to its settings and notices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Netlify’s Privacy Policy.
5. International transfers
Infrastructure and external services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Transfers subject to the GDPR require the safeguards set out in Articles 44 onwards, such as applicable adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. For information about the providers used and safeguards applicable to your data, contact the controller using the details above.
6. Retention
Communications are retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any subsequent relationship, taking account of applicable legal obligations and the need to protect legal rights. Technical data follow the hosting infrastructure’s retention periods and settings, limited to operational and security needs. Retention criteria include purpose, necessity, legal obligations and any disputes. You can request details of the periods applicable to your situation by contacting the controller.
7. Your rights
Where and to the extent provided by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
